Refund Policy

Highlight Investments Group provides stock market education and information services over the Internet. Given the specific nature of these services, cancellations or returns cannot be refunded, nor can products be exchanged.

The practice of claiming a refund after having used any of our member services (i.e., accessing our members' area in order to see members only content, such as charts, signals, market data, the Daily Market Outlook, email alerts, and any other associated information) is considered fraudulent.

When a Subscriber requests service termination, subscription fees (whether full or partial) are not refunded. Subscribers are liable for charges incurred by them until termination of service.

NO REFUNDS will be issued for reactivated, cancelled, transferred, or upgraded accounts.

NO REFUNDS will be issued for product purchased at promotional rate.

Refund of Signup Payment

If a subscriber signed up for a product because of a misunderstanding, or by error, he/she can request a refund on the same day he/she was charged. In order to receive a refund (less an  account-processing and service fee), a customers must cancel on the day of subscription. After cancelling, a customer must request a refund to his/ her credit card.

When a customer receives a refund he/she will be charged account-processing and service fee (re-stocking fee). All purchases above $50 are subject to 30% account-processing and service fee (re-stocking fee). All purchases at and below $50 are subject to $9.95 account-processing and service fee (re-stocking fee). The re-stocking fee is charged to cover expenses mostly not dependable on us which include but are not limited by credit card discount fee, transaction fee, account processing fee, etc.

Refund of Recurring Payment

Depending on the recurring payment plan selected by a subscriber during the signup process, Highlight Investments Inc. will charge for access to the requested information on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis. If a customer was charged on a recurring payment plan, he/she has two days after the charge to request a refund. In order to receive his/her refund, the customers must cancel within this first 2 days following the recurring charge. After cancelling, the customer must request a refund to his/her credit card.

Prorated Refund for Yearly Payment

Highlight Investments Inc. does not issue full or prorated refunds for monthly and quarterly recurring charges. Highlight Investments Inc. does not issue full or prorated refunds for charges that are less than $100. Highlight Investments Inc. may however issue a prorated refund for yearly recurring payment plans (charge must be bigger than $100) within the first 5 months after the last yearly payment. In cases where a customer requests a prorated refund for a yearly charge, he/she must first request to cancel the service. The customer must then request that we issue a refund on his/her credit card. Prorated refund amounts are calculated as the difference between the last payment and the number of full months of service multiplied by the monthly regular (not promotional) service rate. A 30% account-processing and service fee will also be applied.

An example of a refund calculation: A customer was charged $500 for a yearly membership. After 2 1/2 months, he decides to cancel the service and makes a request for a prorated refund. His refund will be calculated as follows: We will base our refund calculations on the premise the customer subscribed to our service for a 3 full months on a monthly recurring payment plan. Assuming a monthly subscription cost of $55, we will calculate 3 months * $55 per month = $165 as payment for our services; in addition, we will add a $150 (30% from $500) account processing and service fee. Therefore, the amount refunded back to the customer's credit card will be: $500 - $165 - $150 = $185.
